    • There are aeroplanes that can fly without registration; 1) test flight, 2) ferried aeroplanes (for the purpose of sale)

    Airworthiness

    You need to have the Certificate of Airworthiness (must have it on board, unless it's a newly designed aeroplane that is being tested) to prove that the aircraft is fit to fly.

    The Certificate determines the number of crew, the weight of aeroplane (MTOM, MLM, MZFM), the category of the aeroplane, whether it is fit for passenger-carrying or fit for payload-carrying

    • Transport Category (Passenger): Any purpose.

    • Transport Category (Cargo): Any purpose, other than public transport of

    • Special Category: Any purpose other than public transport, specified in the Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) but not including the carriage of passengers unless expressly permitted

    You have Logbooks for Aircraft; engine, propellers (which is compiled in the Tech Log)

    So you have;

    • Certificate of Airworthiness (includes Minimum Equipment List MEL)

    • Certificate of Maintenance

    • Certificate of Review

    • their licence includes an IR or they have within die immediately preceding 13 months carried out as PIC not less than 5 take-offs and 5 landings with the sun at least 12° below the horizon. (Note that the latter conditions :does not necessarily coincide with ‘night’ as defined (Regulation, ie from 20 mins after sunset to 20 mins before sunrise at the surface) or
